"Kosher
Food and Wine Experience"
Happy
2009.
I guess it's that time of year and consequently I am delighted
to invite you to our Third Annual "Kosher Food and Wine
Experience"
Due to the large crowd last year, this event has now moved to
The Metropolitan Museum to accommodate more people.
On February 23rd, we look forward to welcoming you at our gala
event celebrating Israeli varietals and kosher wines from around
the world. Some highlights in this year's "happening"
will include the attendance of Daniel Rogov - Wine Connoisseur
and Critic Extraordinaire, flying in from Israel , especially
for the occasion.
Among the new offerings making their debut, will be wines sourced
from the highly regarded To Kalon and Haystack (Atlas Peak)
vineyards.
Furthermore, the event will premiere the advent of Generation
VIII produced by Herzog Wine Cellars in celebration of Eight
generations of winemaking by the Herzog Family.
In addition to the perennially popular seminar delivered by
Fine Wine Director Jay Buchsbaum, there will be an array of
over 200 wines to sample from diverse countries spanning the
globe.
The proceeds of this year's auction of rare wines will be dedicated
to benefit the families struck by the tragedy in Mumbai
And of course the kosher catering will add a further dimension
to the event.
Press are welcome from 4pm to avoid the crowd. Please try to
RSVP by the end of this month so passes can go out and please
remember to bring credentials on the night.
